Broadcast Date – July 4, 2018
I’m so happy to say I’ve officially been celebrating all the people, places and things that make the 4 Atlantic Provinces so very special for 8 years. YES INDEED – on July 1st my website SeaAndBeScene.com turned 8 and we kicked off a month long party to celebrate big time!!!
Now since I’ve always believed – the more the merrier – I’ve packed this edition of SEA AND BE SCENE… And HEARD with some truly phenomenal East coast folks and kindred spirits – all joining us in flashback to some of the great fun we’ve have since our launch back in 2010. Let’s see – we’ve got award winning actors and ECMA winning singers and songwriters, a whole whack of Juno Winners, 4 authors, 2 order of Canada members, A Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame Member, An ICON recipient from the Canadian Screen Awards and as many laughs as we can squeeze into an hour.
Since the very beginning of SeaAndBeScene.com a much beloved staple of my interviews has been INsights IN 10 – 10 questions designed so that we can learn just a little bit more about the interviewee. And regular listeners of the show will know we play it here on SEA AND BE SCENE… And HEARD pretty regularly too. Today we’ll take you back to when we played it on the Halifax sets of Mr.D with Jonathan Torrens and 22 minutes with Mark Critch play a pre-show round with Dean Brody and Michelle Wright too, we’ll play INsights in 10 with Kim Stockwood in a music store, we’ll hang out in a hotel room with Alan Doyle and a backseat Allan Hawco – it’s going to be an action packed edition of SEA AND BE SCENE AND HEARD so let’s kick off our INsights IN 10 EXTRAVAGANZA!
