Sea and be Scene and Heard podcast with Sean Panting

Broadcast Date: March 18, 2020

It’s been quite a while since we’ve connected with today’s guest but we certainly have enjoyed keeping up with all his creative endeavours on SEA AND BE SCENE over the years starting with his role as lawyer Walter MacLean on CBC’s hit dramedy REPUBLIC OF DOYLE, and his big screen roles in films like LOVE AND SAVAGERY and THE GRAND SEDUCTION and most recently his musical part in Newfoundland’s great new sean panting THE SIMPLE MACHINESstage production NO CHANGE IN THE WEATHER

Then just a few weeks ago we were thrilled to share the news of his brand new release THE SIMPLE MACHINES a true solo effort of tremendous proportions so we’ll talk about that and so much more – including growing up in St.John’s, his passion for playing live and his steady stream of gigs being Allan Hawco’s sidekick – plus we’ll play a fun round of First Things First, a long overdue round of INsights IN 10 and of course as much as his marvelous music as we can squeeze into the hour – so with all that ahead – we best get to it – here’s my conversation with the one and only Sean Panting.
