Broadcast Date – April 14, 2021
Our chats will be just that very conversational, not entirely sensible and with any luck totally enjoyable.
It was all that and then some connecting with today’s guest – an award-winning singer-songwriter from the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Oh, sure I’ve been celebrating her sound for years now, but I’m so happy to say – after a whole lotta trying – we finally had the chance to chat one on one. And truth be told our timing couldn’t be better, as she’s made it to the semi-finals of SiriusXM totally cool Top of the Country Competition. In fact, she’s the only East Coast competitor – so we’ll talk about that amazing news and so much more. Including her process for writing songs, how she’s managed to stay creative during the crazy year we just endured and the amazing team that had her back through it all. We’ll also talk about her fantastic fabric of friends, get to First Things First, play a fun round of INsights IN 10 and spin as much of her marvellous music and we can squeeze within the hour. So with all that ahead we best get to it – here’s my telephone conversation with the one and only Carolina East. (player at the bottom of this post)
